The E-Gallery bio picture
  • Welcome to eGallery web blog…

a gallery by Edmund Tham (one of the World's Top 9 WPJA Wedding Photographers in 2008). This gallery is an extension of our office and functions as a place to showcase our masterpieces. Beside that, this gallery also doubles up as a creative place for friends / photographers to gather and share their thoughts together.

Edmund is a graphic design graduate with years of experience in the advertising and events management industry whose love for photography began during his teenage years while working as an assistant at a photography studio. This love affair blossomed over the years and breathed life to eGallery. Edmund believes that great photography goes beyond skilled hands and technical know-how. Most importantly, it requires an expressive mind, a keen eye and a kindred heart to grasp the finer details, thus revealing emotions that speak volumes. My vision is simple: to boost the level of Malaysian wedding photography making it on par with international standards.

Theng Yi + Suet Yin = Ice Cream, TTD 06

This is the 6th collection of the “Trash the Dress” series. After we have done Car Workshop, Fire, Garbage Truck, Coke + Mentos and Paints, this round we play with Ice Cream. When i talk about TTD concept to the couple during our first meeting, they quite excited and they decide to do it. I came out a few concepts for them and they end up decide go for the Ice Cream Concept.

The shoot take place in Theng Yi house at the car porch area. The shoot was fun and cool… I really respect Suet Yin on her efforts. She really put on the ice cream on her skin, can you imagine that how Freezing cool and she doesn’t complaint at all through out the shoot.

Here are some of the interesting shots from the Ice Cream TTD…

JUDGES COMMENTS: This is simply lovely in its sensuality and tonality, capturing romance in the faces of the bride and groom, the flowing veil and grasses.

Merry X’mas & a Great 2010…

May this season of peace, joy & love open doors to new opportunities and pave new paths of success in year 2010.

Pick of the pack write up at The Star, 21 Dec 2009

I glad that The Star giving me a chance for the interview, Thanks for the big support from The Star and the editor S.Indramalar for the great write up.

I always think that interview by Magazine and Papers is a dream for me, and today my dream came true. I think this is the bigest & meaningful Christmas & New Year present for me. Photography began as a hobby for me.  I never thought it would become a career.  But one day, I woke up and realized I didn’t like what I was doing at work in my old career.  And so, the hobby became the way I made a living.  Soon, it became a career.  And now, it’s a passion! I promise to continue my hard work in future. So, keep your eye on The eGallery, because we always have amazing ways to tell a love storys.
